A series of paintings that portray physical intimacy in relation to the idea of the medulla, a word that refers to the innermost part of something, and its historic applicability to both plant pith and bone marrow.

The reconfigurations of physicality in Medulla are also strongly influenced by Donna Haraway’s writing on sympoiesis and transformation in the Chthulucene.
